Day 01: Arrival Leh
Arrival Leh, Wisdom representative will meet, greet, assist and
transfer you to Hotel in Leh. Rest of the day free to acclimatize to the high altitude
of Ladakh. In the evening take a walk to the local bazaar in Leh. Visit . Overnight
at Hotel in Leh.
Day 02: Monastery tour and Sindhu Darshan (90 Kms round trip)
Morning
after breakfast, drive to Thiksey village, visit Thiksey monastery and drive to Shey
Village to visit Shey Palace and Gompa. Continue drive to Hemis monastery to visit
one of the most famous monasteries of Ladakh. Later on the way back to Leh get down
at the Sindhu Ghat for Sindhu Darshan and walk along the river. After spending some
time at the river come back to Hotel and relax. You can carry a picnic lunch or come
back to hotel for a late hot lunch. (Please check the buffet timings at your hotel
in case of hot lunch) Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Leh.
THIKSEY GOMPA: 19
Kms from Leh, spectacularly sited, Thiksey is one of the largest and architecturally
most impressive Gompas. There are several temples in this Gompas, containing images,
stupas and wall paintings of Buddha, which are exquisite.
SHEY PALACE AND GOMPA: Situated
on a hillock 15 Kms upstream from Leh, it was once the residence of the royal family.
According to tradition, it was the seat of power of the pre-Tibetan kinds. A 7.5
mts high copper statue of Buddha, plated with gold and the largest of its kind, is
installed here.
HEMIS GOMPA: 40 Kms from Leh, it is the wealthiest, best known and
biggest Gompa of Ladakh. Its popularity stems from the major annual festival held
here in summer. The festival is in honor of Guru Padma Sambhava's birth anniversary.
It also has the largest Thanka in Ladakh which is unfurled once in 12 years Hemis
was built in 1630 during the reign of Singge Namgyal, an illustrious ruler of Ladakh.
It flourished under the Namgyal Dynasty for the royalty favored the Drugpa sect,
which is managed the monastery. It is divided into two, the assembly hall on the
right and the main temple on the left. The hall (Dukhang) is also used as "green
room" by the dancers during the festival. The temple is known as Tshogkhang. The
verandahs have a surfeit of frescoes, among them the Buddhist "Wheel Of Life" (Kalachakra)
and the lords of the four quarters, besides the prayer wheel.
SINDHU GHAT: The Sindhu
Ghat at Choglamsar village at the bank of River Indus has been inaugurated on the
1st of June 2001 by Hon'ble Minister for Home Shri L. K. Advani. Every year Sindhu
festival is held on this bank of river, forges bonds of unity between communities.
The festival is an ideal opportunity for travelers from all over the country and
the world to visit this wonderful region and to savour its rugged beauty and charm.
Day
03: Excursion to Khardungla Pass (78 Km round trip) and Kayaking
After an early breakfast
prepare yourself for the ultimate adventure of your life. We will drive upto the
Kardungla Top to have a magnificent view of the surrounding valleys. After spending
some time there come back to Hotel for Lunch. Post lunch drive to Spituk for Kayaking
(3 hrs) at a shallow water pond. In the evening take a small round trip to Shanti
Stupa for the beautiful sunset view over the entire Leh Valley. Overnight at Hotel
in Leh.
KHARDUNGLA PASS: The road journey to Nubra valley leads through Khardung La
pass (The highest Motorable road in the world) 18,390 ft. around 39 Kms. Away from
Leh. There are two checkpoints on the both sides of the pass. Khardong is the first
village of Nubra valley at higher altitude than Deskit and other villages.
LAKE KAYAKING:
Besides keep a person fit, canoeing and Kayaking are eco-friendly water sports. Canoes
and kayaks are boats tapered at their ends so that they may cut through water easily.
This unique feature makes them highly efficient on trying on most kind of water bodies
and is usually practiced on lakes and rivers, which have flat and still water.
SHANTI
STUPA (Japanese Peace Pagoda): Shanti Stupa/Japanese peace pagoda is build by a Japanese
religious organization headed by Head monk Nakamura with the help from the organization
and local people. It is situated at a hill top in Cahngspa village providing a bird
eye view of the Leh town and the surrounding mountain peaks. Architecturally it has
the Japanese touch with small clean rooms on the side for meditators and the main
Japanese shrine at the entrance.
Day 04: Rafting on Indus (15 Km stretch)
After breakfast
leave for the experience of a lifetime. Our jeeps will drop you at Phey – the Raft
“Put in” point and will pick you up from Nimo where you end your rafting. Drive back
to hotel in Leh to relax. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Phey to Nimo: This route
consist mostly of Grade II or III easy rapids is that it passes through astoundingly
beautiful mountains, many of them with tiny hamlets and imposing old monasteries
nestling among the valleys. Starting from Phey Village, about 12 Kms from Leh and
ends Indus-Zanskar confluence at Nimo, about 36 kms from Leh. This stretch can be
undertaken by novices as well.
Day 05: Day Trek from Stakmo Village
After breakfast
we will drive towards Stakmo Village – where an international acclaimed film ‘Frozen”
starring Danny Danzongpa was shot. A 22 kms drive till our trek starting point. From
here we will walk inside the valley for about 3 – 4 hrs and come back to the same
point for the pick up. Drive back to Leh for dinner and overnight.
Day 06: Airport
Departure
Leave on time for Leh airport to board your flight to Delhi.

1. Accommodation in Standard room at : " 04 nights stay at specified hotels
in Leh with attached bath.
2. All meals starting from breakfast on day 01 till dinner
on day 04. Meals will be buffet breakfast and dinner at hotel and lunches while drives
and sightseeing will be picnic style (Packed).

Tavera / Scorpio for arrival / departure transfers, sightseeing as per the itinerary.

In case of not completion of the tour due to any reason whatsoever there will not
be any refund for any unutilized services. Any extra expense due to the same has
to be paid extra.
· Any expenses arising out of unforeseen circumstances like flight
delay / cancellation / hike in fare, strike or any other natural calamities or any
emergency evacuation expenses.
